to Four Foot Lodge Pet Holiday Centre in the Motueka Valley near Nelson.

At Four Foot Lodge all animals are important!

Four Foot Lodge mainly caters for dogs and cats, but also accepts small caged animals. Horses, sheep, goats, pigs and even your house cow are all welcome to stay on our little farm.

Krista and her staff know how to take care of them and give them a pleasant stay, while you're away!

About us:

It was our dream, here in the Motueka Valley in the Tasman/ Nelson District to work with animals in a rural environment.
Four Foot Lodge gives us the opportunity to live our dream.

With husband Wilfred, son Gijs and daughter Sofie, Krista moved to N.Z. in the summer of 2007.

Krista has a wealth of experience as a fully qualified Veterinarian Nurse and has worked for 22 years in a Veterinary Practice for livestock and small animals in The Netherlands. As a qualified dog-friendly groomer, with running her own Grooming Centre for 10 years, she has lots of experience in grooming a large variety of breeds. She is responsible, dedicated and passionate about the welfare of all animals.

Four Foot Lodge is constantly undergoing changes, face-lifts and renovations. There are daily improvements to the services offered and the aim is to provide as many home comforts as possible.

There are a lot of opportunities for an enjoyable holiday in the Tasman/ Nelson District.
Four Foot Lodge is situated only 10 minutes from Motueka, only 45 minutes from Nelson & Nelson Airport, only 20 minutes from the Abel Tasman National Park, Marahau and Kaiteriteri.
It takes an hour to go to Golden Bay, Takaka and the Farewell Spit.
And we can almost see Mt. Arthur in our backyard!
