Puppies are also very welcome at Four Foot Lodge.
We recommend bringing your puppy, especially between the ages of 3 to 4 months. This age is very important; a window exists between this age where your puppy will remember experiences and skills for life. This is when your puppy instinctively learns their social skills from mixing and playing with older adult dogs (under our specialist supervision).
These social skills are extremely important for your puppy’s long term social development. Also we ensure your puppy’s first exposure to boarding kennels is great fun and this is important for you and your puppy’s future happiness when visiting Four Foot Lodge.
You will find that your puppy will be happy to return.
We will come to your home to collect your pet and deliver them safely home when you return. We also transport pets to and from the Nelson Airport, Vet Clinic or any other destination they may need to go.
