We understand most of our guests live inside your homes and may even sleep on your bed, so cosy accommodation whilst they holiday at Four Foot Lodge is super important.
At Four Foot Lodge we pride ourselves in providing a diversity of accommodation for your pet(s) to make their stay comfortable and relaxing.
We provide food, bedding, treats and bones but you are welcome to bring your pet(s) favourite bed, blanket, treats or toys to make them feel at home.
Your dog will enjoy heaps of exercise while staying at Four Foot Lodge!
We don’t like locking them up, they will only be in their kennel at feeding time, for a little nap and at night time.
We have eight spacious gardens with safe, high fencing and with trees that provide shade during warm and sunny weather.
We like to have the dogs outside in the gardens as long as possible; they will be exercised for 6-7 hours during the day, depending on the weather, with an afternoon rest of 3 hours.
We always try to mix the dogs in social groups, according to temperament, size and age to socialize, play or just relax in the sun.
When your dog is not socialized or has special needs, we don’t mix him with other dogs for everyone’s safety.
For an extra fee we can take your dog for a walk to the river where they can enjoy some time in a new environment and get some one on one time. If your dog enjoys swimming they can do so as well.
And while they are here why not book them in for a bath and take home a tired, happy and clean pet?
At Four Foot Lodge we feed the dogs twice daily. Their main, morning meal consists high quality dog biscuit* with dog roll and Reliance V8 biscuits at night.
We also provide a treat in the evening, like a raw beef bone, snack biscuits, rawhide bone or a toy filled with yummy treats since this helps them settle down and relax for a good nights sleep.
* CopRice Family Dog Biscuits which is formulated using the highest quality natural ingredients including natural cereals and chicken and contains all of the important vitamins and minerals for good health. It contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
You’re welcome to bring your own food when you want to continue your dog’s normal diet or if they have a special diet.
As a Vet Nurse, Krista can also cater for animals that are on a special diet or need medication, injections or extra care.
