| Farm
& Other animals
Though Four Foot Lodge is in the first place a boarding kennel
and cattery, other animals are welcome as well. The Blauw family are real
animal lovers and they have many different animals on their 6 hectare farm.
They
like and keep dogs, goats, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs and
white doves!
Around ten chickens provide free range eggs and one of the two
cows is giving a part of her milk to the family after her calf was born.
Horses
Whether
you go on holiday or have a different reason to bring your horse somewhere else
for a while, at Four Foot Lodge it will be in good hands. We have no stables,
but offer basic keep and experienced handling.
Other animals
Birds, guinea pigs, rabbits .... all small caged
animals are welcome at FFL. And also your pet goat, sheep, pig or house-cow are
welcome as well.
But even the bigger ones ... a less
common 'guest' for a few months last winter was the
lovely big black 'petpig' Makina, delivered and collected by her
owner, who transported her in the back of her 4 wheel drive! She felt
perfectly at home in a spacious run and loved to be
cuddled.
